2 miter cuts and nail up a new piece of casing would of been quicker but would of probably pealed off the paint when removing old casing

For mine, I have quartz counters, I took a 1/4” tile bit and made a hole half the depth of the counter thickness, super glued some dowel rods in there, cut it flush to the underside of the counter and then screwed into those. Been a year and it hasn’t moved!

Funny thing is that stuff they used yellows. That looks like crap next to white 😂😂😂😂 that’s besides the fact you want to be able to pull your range out to clean.

Should have also used a cement bonding adhesive so it doesn't crack / chip away again.

Bruh if not a hinge door stop then what fuckin door stop. A regular one is ugly breaks off and gets tripped on easily. And can easily make the same holes. A hinge one disappears, is out of the way and will cause the same holes anyways. Maybe just stop slamming the fuckin door like an idiot when opening it? It's not a damn toy? Don't think the door stops have anything to do with it. That's ALOT of damage and force behind that hole.

Looks great. For trim with a spray finish I am trying to get close to especially on nicer homes the 4" and 6" mohair blend 3/16" nap roller covers from Sherwin Williams work phenomenal. Was doing baseboard repair on a CEOs house in town last year and she is super picky but those mohair blend did the trick of mimicking a spray finish.

Amateurs use fingers for caulking. Theres a tool to remove the excess if your to broke use a old debit card. 😅

Lowe’s also has adhesive brackets so you don’t have to screw into as much

I personally prefer the white to be 1/16" on the wall more than the paint be 1/16" on the base board I think when looking down at it the L curve of the paint on the trim makes it look not straight any more
